Most articles just flow out of me… this one just didn’t want to flow.
Why?
My guess is that this article may be the most damaging to the current status quo, current success myths that keeps people that follow the common knowledge stuck in their misery.
My second guess is that it’s because I myself am just now going through the process of liberating myself fully from this common knowledge.
With transformation, with success, with raising your vibration, there is no way around hard stuff, only through it. The shortcut leads through the stuff… Said in another way: the shortcut is not an easy way, it is the hardest, emotionally, existentially, because there is no easy way… so if you were looking for an easy way, please leave now.
Myth #1: Keep your eyes on the prize
Let’s start with the first common knowledge: Keep your eyes on the prize.
The main problem, what makes this a myth, isn’t in the statement itself, but in the interpretation. The interpretation comes from you, so listen up, and unlearn it fast, so you can start using your life for success, instead of misery.
If any of your idols that you so would like to emulate, sports heroes, business heroes, kept their eyes on the prize on their way to the top, they would have never gotten there.
You need to keep your eyes and your attention on what you are doing. Of course the prize is shiny, but if you keep your eyes on the prize you’ll fantasize about a comfortable path to it, but there is no such thing, at least not in reality and not with prizes that are worth having.
When it comes to raising your vibration, there is definitely no straight path, past the vibrational level of 200.
The goal is to raise your vibration, do the work that will, little by little, snap the glue that holds you to the common knowledge, to everything that you know, everything that is comfortable, everything that can be given to you by another, including the deity of your choice.
At the end of that path, having unglued yourself from the common myths that humanity blinds itself, you are on your own. That is the highest state for a human. Nothing to hold you to the comfort of leaning on another being.
But, of course, at this point, you do believe in Jacob’s ladder. You do believe in the myth that there is a straight line.
Here is a joke to illustrate:
One day, three men were hiking and unexpectedly came upon a large, raging, violent river. They needed to get to the other side, but had no idea of how to do so.
The first man prayed to God, saying, “Please God, give me the strength to cross this river.” Poof! God gave him big arms and strong legs, and he was able to swim across the river in about two hours, but only after almost drowning a couple of times.
Seeing this, the second man prayed to God, saying, “Please God, give me the strength … and the tools to cross this river.” Poof! God gave him a rowboat and he was able to row across the river in about an hour, but only after almost capsizing the boat a couple of times.
The third man had seen how this worked out for the other two, so he also prayed to God saying, “Please God, give me the strength and the tools…and the intelligence… to cross this river.” And poof! God turned him into a woman. She looked at the map, hiked upstream a couple of hundred yards, then walked across the bridge.
When you keep your eyes on the prize you are not being intelligent. You are not looking around, you don’t look at the map, you simply lose your intelligence, because you are sure that the way to the prize is straight.
When you keep your eyes on the prize, a big obstacle will convince you that it is impossible reach the prize, that it is not for you, and you’ll quit.
I am learning this in my own work to raise my vibration further.
After a lot of deliberation, I have decided to start a side business that will provide me with the income I need so it won’t have to come from this transformation business. I paid a really lot of money for a course to sell on Amazon: this looked to me like the fastest and least time consuming way. I have watched all the videos of the course, I have done all the homework, and I came to a big obstacle (the river!): I had to realize that to make money I need to have money to buy merchandise… oops, I hadn’t known you needed to have this much money… bummer.
Now, can I make this seed money to make money, while keeping my eyes on the big prize (Amazon automatic income)? No. Every action I need to take now will seemingly take me off my goal if I do that.
Instead, I am guided, I need to keep the prize as a context, as a background, and inside that background move around, until I find something that can make the seed money.
I need to find my bridge to the bridge to the bridge… while the context remains crossing the original bridge.
It feels to my mind like I am back at square one, and my mind screams at me to quit.
The mind doesn’t know that wherever you are it is always square one… because reality is always square one.
Myth #2: Think Big, Reach High: If you shoot for the starts you’ll reach the moon…
That leads us to the second common knowledge that we need to debunk: Think Big.
You make the same mistake with this myth… it is your interpretation that is at fault.
I have two types of students:
- They just want to feel a little bit better, get out of the miseryThe first group will be stuck in trying, because they are in fixing mode. They are in the “get away, get rid of” mode, and there isn’t enough energy there, and the context is not big enough: they will hover (at best) just about, above, in and out of misery, regardless of the tools, regardless of the teaching. Context is decisive. Fixing is horrible. The solution to a problem is the next, larger problem.
- They strive to be the best, they strive to the flying of the spirit. [note]The spirit is only interested in flying. Who is doing the flying the spirit only have a passing interest[/note]
The second group set the context correctly, but they bring magical thinking to the “work”, a ‘keep the eyes on the prize’ attitude, and will be discouraged fast, constantly disappointed.
They are delusional: they believe that it takes one big step to get from where they are to where they want to be. Like anointment… a divine intervention, or something similar.
They behave like the person who lives in a basement apartment, but dreams about living in the penthouse. Their whole life is spent in the dream and the despair, not in the earning their way up the stairs.
Life, and success are a step by step, gain by gain process, not a jump.
Why? Why would Life make it so hard for everybody? Here is my theory that will make it easier for you to be with Life the way Life is: it has be be hard work so you can appreciate it. No one ever appreciates anything they didn’t have to work for.
Of course, if you don’t appreciate yourself, don’t value yourself, then you won’t value your work either… you don’t have the floor solidly under your feet,
This is why, as soon as you are out of your deep misery, and raise your vibration to 190~200, I recommend the Unconditional Love Activator. Unfortunately people don’t seem to be able to connect to Source strongly enough, long enough, reliably enough to really get the activator to work for them while they are awake. And when you hear the commands of the activator with your conscious mind, it rejects all the statements, because they all fly in the face of how you “know” it is, how you “know” you are. So the activator won’t be able to go past your conscious mind.
When you are connected to Source continuously, for about 20 minutes, while the activator is going, you get the activators on all levels of your being… but that is only a dream for a lot of you.
That’s why I created the Sleepy Time version or the Unconditional Love Activator: when you are asleep your conscious mind doesn’t guard your subconscious. Your conscious mind, in the sleeping state, won’t block the activator from doing its job.
That activator will create a healthy foundation for your being, so you can start appreciating yourself and stop looking for appreciation from the outside. It’s futile anyway: no one is able to unconditionally appreciate another, or even be willing… so you are wasting your precious life hoping, yearning, trying to earn other people’s validation, love, appreciation, in vain.
When you value yourself and your life, you make different choices, you waste less of your time, your resources, and make less mistakes. You become available to raise your vibration in earnest.
