It is the natural state of an Expanding Human Being to experience no emotions for hours, maybe even days at a time.
Emotions are a response to life, to danger, and should be momentary and responded to. Not the continuous torturous emotional states you are experiencing.
When something evokes a strong emotional response, fear, disgust, there is something you need to deal with. Something that is out of whack, something that is unfinished business, suppressed, swept under the rug, and threatens to throw you out of you equilibrium, your peace of mind.

How to live a life that is an experiment, so you never get upset, or if you do, not for long.
Yesterday I really didn’t mean to experiment. It was a workshop I have run many times, easy peasy, done and I can go back to doing what I was doing… but no, this is not how it turned out.
In the 3-wishes workshop you can make three wishes. The catch is: they all need to be about money. Stupid thing… but that is how it is going to drive up something.
The idea is that at the first round you only think of yourself… the second round you may think of your community, your country, and in the third round you think of the world.
The biggest issues I encounter in my practice is the monkey mind. The noise. The morass. The voices you heed.
What am I talking about? I am talking about a busy mind, stuck in constant chatter, and unable to concentrate at the task at hand. Even to hear! When you are in this state, if you are like me, you are dreaming of reprogramming your mind.
Unless the task is a repetitive task, requiring no input from you, this may work, but if your input is required, especially if the input needs to be creative and complex, you are screwed! royally.
Some wisdom we could have learned as a child… but didn’t. But it is never late…

Why is that significant? And what the heck does that even mean?
The past is the past, and you cannot change it, they say. but if you look in history books, you’ll see that the past does change… depending on the point of view of the historian…
Reality is collective hunch at best…
…but the visible, perceivable, three-dimensional reality looks different depending on the vantage point… depending on the context… depending on what criteria you examine it by.
Most people ask me what they should do about other people’s negativity… but ultimately you can’t change anything there, you can only change yourself.
So, what can you do with your negativity?
There are permanent and temporary solutions. But even if you do permanent solutions, you will need to maintain mental hygiene, just like you need to wash your hands all the time, or cut your nails.
Temporary solutions work best if you have lots of discipline and are able to be self-aware close to 24/7.
Animals seem to be happy. Humans are unhappy, pretending to be happy.
Why is this discrepancy?
Consider that what makes you unhappy is your Soul. The Soul that is at cross-purposes with the part of you that is the bodymind, the part of you that guides your behavior, thoughts, and attitudes.
It’s been so maybe forever.
The Soul is the aspect of you that wants to become like God, that wants to become a Creator.
The bodymind only cares about receiving: receiving fun, pleasure, power over others, and being safe, being right, looking good. Some disciplines call it the ego… I won’t… Calling it ego hasn’t proved to be effective, because we have a limited perspect
People will always judge you and what you are doing. It’s part of their machine.
There is nothing you can do about that. Judging is the only way humans have access to “what’s happening”. It is the right circle (the meaning and story circle)… and it is NEVER empty… You can call it meaning, you can call it story, you can call it judgment, you can call it commentary, you can call it whatever you want to: it never goes away.
Mother Teresa may be right… but doing it anyway, giving your best anyway, may be a really uphill struggle, unless… unless you set the context. She did… masterfully, and she made people “
