Clarity is a lot like astuteness. It is the ability to glean the gold among the fake gold, among the pretend gold, among the inert, the ordinary.
There is an amazing scene in one of the Harry Potter movies: The scene when they go to find the horcrux in the bank. It is a cup if I remember correctly, in a bank vault owned by one of the Death Eaters. The horcrux hides a part of the Dark Lord’s soul, and to kill the Dark Lord Harry must kill the horcrux.
But the chamber is full of valuable items that are NOT the horcrux…
Please check the special offer on the mini speaker that sounds like a Bose (the best audio I know). Also a great gift! Harmonize your vibration included!
Dr David Hawkins says that your mood indicated your vibration aka consciousness level. Is that accurate?
The past two days I feel like a dog, having to smell its own wet dog smell… OK, that didn’t quite express how I feel…
Let me be more specific: my shoulders are so stiff, they hurt. My neck hurts. My head hurts. I have bouts of grief, shame, sadness, longing, and other horrible emotions.
The brain’s thinking/creative function, also choices, are located in the frontal cortex. That part is the latest addition to the multi-layered brain.
That part needs the most fuel.
People who don’t understand how their brain work will not amount to much. Their brain power will be used for mundane stuff and not for something that actually creates value for them and the world.
Using an analogy that, maybe, everyone can understand, let me use some examples that are more obvious.
If you had a quota of electricity you can use to heat your house, you would, probably, allow your hallways, your porch, your basement to remain cold, and would only heat the rooms where you spend a lo
There are two types of students and there are two types of teachers.
Teacher One says: I’ll teach you!
Teacher Two says: I won’t quit until you learned it!
Student One says: I’ll come to your class, I’ll pay for your program and then I’ll try!
Student Two says: I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure I learn it and have it for myself.
This phenomenon is not limited to learning…
One person says: I’ll try
Another person says: I can do it
The third person says: I’ll do it until it’s done
People who are willing to try are many. Teachers, students, ALL.
Most of what you find in the online or offline teaching ‘industry’, spirituality, meditation, yoga, healing
Being here and now has been a favorite topic of all the gurus.
What is a guru? A guru is a person who can teach. I said teach, I didn’t say just talk!
All the gurus I know are big talkers.
What is the difference between talking and teaching?
On one hand, you can see the results of teaching: if the student is able to be/do what is being taught, then teaching and learning took place.
Knowing about something is not real knowledge, it is talking. Just like talking about flying isn’t flying, talking about love isn’t love… And talking about being present isn’t being present.
Homo sapiens is moronic. In fact, the more educated, the more worldly, the more knowledgeable, the more moronic.
Let me explain:
There are two ways to behave in any situation: you either react or your respond.
Although on the surface they look very similar, the two behaviors are drastically different in what gives, what animates the behavior.
An action either comes from the mind, or it comes from the here-and-now, intelligence.
Action from the mind is moronic. Why? because the mind only stores the memories of the past. Nothing ever happens exactly the same way, so the action coming from the mind is always wrong, always inappropriate to the situation.
I bought a book today (Ikagai [note]Ikagai the Japanese way of finding purpose in your life. Japanese culture is very different from Western culture in that there is no hurry, there is no desire trap, no teaching to imagine in detail what you want, live in your head… etc.
Here are the five principles of Ikigai: living with joy every day. Step dancing to work, as Tai Lopez would say: Awakening
The opposite of clarity is best expressed with this statement: “for you: everything is the same as everything else, except that not always…” This is the condition of the current humanity.
Here is another type of brain fog: the too much information type.
The brain can be overwhelmed too… and pulled under.
This is, actually, the state most people are in. Drowning in stuff, that is neither useful, nor needed, nor fun.
One can compare it to a frat party every day. You are encouraged to drink to your fill, then maybe, hopefully vomit and do it again.
Black out, rape someone and don’t even remember, lie, cheat, follow the leader.
Forrest Gump again… to clarify some of the most important distinctions a person can have to live a life worth living.
Some of the most important, and most life altering distinctions one can have are coming up nowadays daily in questions, in podcast… and I am happy about that.
The two that come up and will come up every session is choice and of course context.
Choice is easy to see…
…the person who selects something to do, they select themselves. Not some reason is doing the selecting.
If I asked you why you read or don’t read my article, you would say something like: I don’t read your article because it is too brainy fo
Is brain fog the same as depression, or is depression associated with brain fog?
My assertion is that if you treat the brain fog, you also treat the depression.
Their overlap is 90%. And because brain fog is not emotional but all physical, the approach to treat it is all physical.
The human body is complicated. Not complex… Complex is still penetrable with the human mind, or with artificial brains. No. It’s complicated… not penetrable.
What different foods, different chemicals, different gut flora do and how they interact is complicated.
Trying to understand it is impossible. Not near impossible: it is impossible. Explaining, finding cures or fixes to symptoms is i
