I think it was Hippocrates who said: “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”
He didn’t know that what we call food in the 21st Century isn’t. That there are more chemicals in what we call food than in actual medicine. That we now have access to “food” that our body does not recognize as food… Plants and animals from far away lands, or designer plants and designer animals, that no other living creature recognizes as food.
Cows’, sheep’, even pigs’ body doesn’t recognize corn as food. It gets sick from it.
Same with genetically modified alfalfa, soy and soy bean, and beets.
If you looked before you say “food”, you would know that.
If you were interested in what
Everyone is looking for the lost key under the lamppost…Â The Streetlight Effect ((The streetlight effect is a type of observational bias where people only look for whatever they are searching by looking where it is easiest.[1][2][3][4] The search itself may be referred to as a drunkard’s search.
Taken from an old joke about a drunkard who is searching for something he has lost, the parable is told several ways but typically includes the following details:
If I see you as beautiful… will you see yourself as beautiful?
If I see you as magnificent, great, awesome… will you see yourself like I do?
Muscle test and my experience says: no.
The most beautiful women spend hours in front of the mirror staring at their imperfections… trying to hide them.
There are also beautiful women who can say: so what. They are in search of some other imperfection.
We know ourselves intimately, and rare is the person who can leave it alone… who can refrain bemoaning their faults, and stop trying to fix themselves while keeping up appearances.
The question came up because of my last article. I bet a lot of people thought I should have told the woman in the article
I almost snubbed this link a reader sent me… She is quite talkative, so I thought it was b.s… but integrity didn’t allow me to skip it.
And I watched it, and wept, and laughed, and felt that those of you who read my articles, and especially those of you who have been working with me one-on-one, in my Reclaim program, should recognize at least three parts where he said it better than I ever could…
So here is your challenge: Watch the video. It is arguably one of the best commencement addresses… and because it has elements of attitude and beingness that actually work…
OK, here is the youtube video… don’t just watch it. Find the parts with the teaching… It will make a difference for you.

The way to comment is to say the distinction/principle he mentions.
If you catch all three, I have a big gift for you. If you catch one… I still have a gift for you.
As I have mentioned, I have signed up to an expensive course that teaches a marketing method to pick the right people that are a good match for what I am attempting to do: take a group of people to the level of human being, the next evolutionary level for the species.
Signing up opened a can of worms.
Several daily emails, and a slew of offers, all beyond my need, all beyond my budget.
Today, a week into this campaign, the fifteenth video, the offer is 20 thousand dollars… and I am ready to throw in the towel.
It is like being in a restaurant,
…asking for a bowl of soup… That is what I wanted, that is what I can afford.
During the summer of 1966 I ran into a girl I knew from elementary school. Turns out she applied and was accepted to the same school I was going to start in that September.
We were having a chat. I remember thinking to myself: Compared to her I know everything… why am I going to school?
We both graduated. I am sure she still thinks she knows everything. My experience is that I know less and less as time goes by.
Whether you can identify with my 19 year old person, or my 69 year old person, and to what degree will be important, so jot it down.
I have been coaching people for many years now. The goal was always to take people on a journey to become their best Self.
Now, the task is easier when someone knows who they are. When someone has a Self.
Most people don’t. They have a persona for each group they interact with, the family persona, the student persona, the friend, the gossiper, the entertainer, the this and the that.
Those personas (roles you play) are not you. They were created by a perceived demand in the circumstances, a perceived demand in the environment.
They leave you empty, they leave you being jerked by the
Context is one of those words that unless you have enough capacities, especially the big picture capacity, is impossible to explain… at least it’s been impossible for me to explain to you.
And yet, if you want to improve the quality of your life, the magic wand to do that is context.
You change the context and everything changes with it.
Your default context is, the context that is invisible to you, but obvious to everyone around you is not pretty. That is where you live… in that context.
