Imagine if you found out that all your hopes for a “normal” life are crushed. You are too old to get married, your way of communicating doesn’t attract the other sex anyway.
You just found out…

The level of evolution where you are is called human. The next level is called human being.
I know, I know, everyone says, even the dictionary, that you are a human being, but it’s a misnomer.
If we continue with the analogy of climbing a circular staircase, in each paradigm you can be at the bottom of the steps on the top, or anywhere in between. ((Look at the picture on the left: on the bottom there is crowding, competition… towards the top less and less people are on the steps… that is exactly how it is in raising your consciousness… people give up.))
Let’s consider that it takes 100 rotations to get to the top of the staircase inside your current paradigm. Wherever you are, you’ll find yourself somewhere on that 1 to 100 scale. Most likely closer to the bottom… Sorry.
Most of the things that make sense are wrong: optimism, hope, big desires, motivation…
It’s the last day of 2014, and there is an undue optimism in the air. A stranger even said hello to me in the street…
Even more than at the beginning of spring… the calendar is telling you that hopefully 2015 will be different.
You will lose the weight, you will find the job of your dreams, you will get out of debt, you will start that business, you will find the love of your life.
Surprise: I don’t need your gratitude. I don’t want your gratitude. I know what works, and I can find out if it worked for you without ever having to ask you. That’s what you can do with empathy.
So why do I encourage you to share? So others can hear that it works? Like a testimonial?
No, neither, but that’s a good idea, maybe I’ll use them as a testimonial!
So why then do I encourage you to share publicly?
This article stands the current culture and the current approach to spirituality, consciousness, self-growth on its head… If you are happy to be miserable, please don’t read it!
Watch this short movie. If it doesn’t bring tears in your eyes, pain in your heart, then probably this article isn’t for you
A Brave New World… can you take it? Or the real reason why you have inner stress?
This is a republished article from June 26, 2013… So please don’t get alarmed… this didn’t just happen. It happened long time ago. But the message is as timely as ever…
What is the opposite of reaction; is it response? Is it pro-active? Prepare to be surprised…
Gurus and even psychologists give lip service to not being reactive. They say it’s the ego’s way to take over your life. They suggest that you respond. They don’t know what they are talking about, and you, the client, suffer as a result.
I think I have finally hit the magic button. I am starting to drop weight without trying
As you know my history: I was skinny til age 10
I was normal till age 16
I was fat till age 24
I was skinny till age 38
I was normal till age 55
I was fat till age 58
The last few years I would have to tell you, month to month… I was trying hard for a few years… lol
I am now on the highest side of normal, close to fat. Fully clothed I now weigh 143 lbs.
When I looked back, and believe me, I spent a lot of time looking from many different vantage points, I found the following:
I have to admit, I would have never thought to write this article, without reading Andy Shaw’s book, Creating a Bug Free Mind. He writes extensively about worry.
I never thought of myself as a worrier, but, of course, I still worry from time to time. Nowhere near as much as others.
They call it fear of failure, anxiety, but it is all worry.
Spending all your mental energy fretting about something in the future, while in the present things don’t get done. Hm. Really stupid, isn’t it?

Controlled breathing changes your physiology. It can help calm you down, clear your mind, and change the brain wave frequency both during and shortly after the breathing exercise. It is like flossing: it doesn’t effect you permanently, and it does not effect the unconscious mind. It is a great practice, and I recommend it to anyone. Few have the discipline to keep it up though
