What ISIS Really Wants

from the Atlantic

The Islamic State is no mere collection of psychopaths. It is a religious group with carefully considered beliefs, among them that it is a key agent of the coming apocalypse. Here’s what that means for its strategy—and for how to stop it.

What is the Islamic State?

Where did it come from, and what are its intentions? The simplicity of these questions can be deceiving, and few Western leaders seem to know the answers. In December, The New York Times published confidential comme

Notes from today’s DNA capacity activation webinar… and more. Lots of insights to share

destination-vs-directionEvery time I do something new, I hate it and learn something new.

We had the webinar where I activated self-trust and humility for people who were on the call… subscribers to my mailing list only.

They were also students and customers… no surprises here.

There have been a few surprises, that I’d like to share:

  1. one needs trust in others to allow me to “do them” on a public call…
  2. depending on the level of trust, a person can get a capacity activated even if it is not directed specifically at them
  3. people with the least amount of trust are the most fi

How the abilities activation effects children

Cooking-kids3I activated the abilities of The Sight and Appreciation a few days ago… This is the email I received this morning… unsolicited, of course.

Good morning Sophie. I finally settled in. I would like to share the change that I see after your activation of the two DNA capacities. The first thing I noticed is in my kids.

My daughter in the past never wanted to help when she was cooking or baking even though she wouldn’t have a clue what needs to be done: She had an “I already know attitude.” Now whenever she is baking she accepts little tips like what needs to go in a cookie batter. Or asks me what goes next.

DNA… how many strands of dna does a human have? Eric Pearl and his reconnection method

eric_pearl_bookLet’s talk about DNA… frauds, misinformation, bull crap

I am reading Eric Pearl’s book, something or other Reconnection.

The book has a 2% truth value. Which means that 98 percent of it is untrue. And 20% of it is deliberate lie… the rest is delusion, tree of knowledge, etc.

I read the book on Kindle, and I am at 40% in reading it.

I am reading it as a novel, a fantastical story, and as such, it is funny, witty…

He meant it as telling the truth, and teaching how to heal people…

I watched all episodes of the Mentalist, where the guy, the main character, plays a once fraud, who could talk to the d

Does it ever happen to you that you talk and no one responds?

no one hears me speakYou talk about something miraculous, that could make all the difference for people… you speak, they listen… and nothing.
You say something profound… no echo. You ask for something, and people’s eyes are glazed over.

Well, this is a regular occurrence in my life… it’s been happening as far as I can remember. And it has happened in every language… not just in English.

I used to suffer about it. I used to blame everyone, call them stupid, etc.

There was a point, some 30 years ago, when it first occurred to me that maybe

DNA activation: Human DNA is like a Christmas tree: it has lots of light on, and even more lights off.

active-and-inactive-dna-capacityHuman DNA is like a Christmas tree: it has lots of light on, and even more lights off.

A light on is a human capacity that is active. A light off is a human capacity that is not active.

Evolution of the species is an inside job. It happens on the DNA level: some capacities turn on.

But how do these capacities turn on, and why isn’t everybody the same on the level of DNA?

A DNA capacity turns on when it’s needed. Comfort, peace, smooth living don’t turn on new capacities.

You don’t need them. You could use them, but you don’t need them.

Take back your life… Take back your power… The value of proving that you can

Taking-Back-What-The-Devil-Has-StolenAbout two years or so after I graduated from architecture school, I was assigned to manage a project. A big one. A university in Oran, Algeria.

I wasn’t assigned because I was so good. Looking back I was green. I didn’t have the vision. I didn’t have the big picture. I didn’t have even the small picture.

Then a new person came to manage the department, and he sent me back to be a draftsperson to prove myself from the ground up.

As any self-respecting arrogant person would, I said that I didn’t have to prove

Your invisible heroes… a guidance from fiction: books, movies, plays

who were your heroes?I read today’s Monday Morning Memo, as usual, and it made me look. (())

Who are my favorite fictional characters?

At first I looked at the ones that weren’t supposed to survive, weren’t supposed to succeed, because they paralleled my own life experience.

But their influence on the multitudes was minimal, because they were about themselves, or maybe about one other person… and I saw that I have grown beyond that path. I have grown beyond the little Chinese boy’s character, my favorite as a child. I have grown beyond the deaf and bl

Doctor Who… how the doctor lost sight that he is the doctor only once.

Why I love all the Doctors

I love Doctor Who… My favorite thing about the doctor is that he never forgets, never loses sight of the big picture… almost never.
In one of the episodes he does… and it is the episode I go back, and watch it again. To watch the transformation back and forth from doctor to stupid earthbound human back to doctor.
The Doctor is the best illustration I have for living out of the Observer, the Watcher… the part of you that doesn’t get entangled… that doesn’t lose sight of what you are about, what it is about. Brilliant.

When you are looking for and find things to be unhappy about… always angry…

anger icebergI have a student who seems to be looking for reasons to be unhappy, angry, frustrated. And not surprisingly she finds something. Always.

She is working on her health and well-being, and part of that is to document every breakfast, lunch and dinner time what she eats, what she drinks, what she does, what she feels like, and whether she had a bowel movement or not. These are all indicators of her well-being and progress.

This morning I realized something: her diary says: bowel movement: small. She doesn’t say: bowel movement: yes (or no, whatever is the case.) No she says: small.

This realization lead me to l
