Getting things done… fast (12-week Mastery review)

SuperheroIn this article I will share with you a period of my life when things happened with a lightening fast speed, and I made those things happen.

It was 1988, and around February I got fired. It was my fault… I forgot that I was supposed to lie to cover for my employer… and I let the truth slip. So I got fired.

Then I got really depressed. I got thrown out of a program I loved and was really good at in Landmark…

I had no income, no hopes for income, and I was depressed.

I started to go to a 12-step program and with a little help, ok, a lot of pushing, I did start to look what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, now that everything I knew was closed for me.

I read the “What Color is Your Parac

Quantum Physics says: reality is what you believe it to be… And belief is a choice

life-is-beautiful2Sometimes I get really lucky. And if I am ready, prepared, open, and eager for the gift, I can get it, harvest it, and life becomes brighter, by a lot. Clearer… by a lot.

This is what happened to me this morning.

I got up at 5:20. The other option was to sleep another hour and a half… and oversleep… So I got up. Better sleep less than more (read my Depression article to see why.)

Chilly morning… sweater and pants, big glass of Energized Water… I am ready for my email… And no, I don’t stretch, I don’t exercise, I don’t meditate… I go to my email and connect. Connect to All-of-it and to my people.

The first email is from a woman who is disappointed in me because I didn’t provide

Self trust… a linchpin capacity… or how do you develop yourself to be able to move forward?

scared-to-take-the-next-stepMany of my coaching students are at a crucial point in their lives where unless something happens, they probably won’t move forward.

Fear, unclarity, self-centeredness, belligerence…

The main attitude is different. Not one person resembles another in what seems to block their path.

It’s the coach’s brilliance, creativity, insight that will either make a difference or not. What is clear is this: unless someone or something helps them through… they will stay this side of the great barrier.

Great responsibility, but I am up for it.

What is the capacity I need to be OK with this responsibility? It is self-trust. Self trust says: I can dea

Self-image: unless you see yourself doing it… you won’t do it.

pick-up-sticksSounds simple, right? self-image means: how you see yourself… but nothing internal is as simple and as straight as that?

The way scientists, medical practitioners, diet-cults, pharmaceutical companies work is called linear reductionism… ((
reductionism

1.
the theory that every complex phenomenon, especially in biology or psychology, can be explained by analyzing the simplest, most basic physical mechanisms that are in operation during the phenomenon.
2.
the practice of simplifying a complex idea, issue, condition, or the like, especially to the point of minimizing, obscuring, or distorting it.

I looked what is more important to me than life itself…

8ca346c61dd1530c4a485f63b8883ed3Why do I write? Who do I write for? What is important to me? These are the questions are occupying my thoughts…

I just finished reading 1984, Orwell’s novel. I am not an American, so I never even heard about it until about 1984… In Hungary it is not a recommended reading.

It was a traumatic experience for me, much like Brave New World was back in 1977 when I first read it. Much soul searching followed, I am not quite done with the soul searching.

I mentioned to my driver that I read the book… and from her response, I think I was lucky: the best way to make an important b

The third thinking brain… immersion: the secret to mastery of life and growth

immersion therapyThe first thinking brain, the genes driven brain creates a life of reactivity, full of fear, full of anxiety, full of sharp turns and devastating jerks. I’ve lived there… and I hated it.

The second thinking brain, the one that evaluates, reasons, figures stuff out, is slow and plodding, and hard work. Creates real solutions, keeps you out of trouble… but not really fun.

And then there is the third thinking brain… the work of thinking is done in the background, on the back burner, while the foreground is silent, resting, or busy learning something new..

That is where I live now.

I am getting a few questions about that, and I decided to tell you as much as I can see… the mechani

Donald Trump: soul correction, vibration. overall intelligence… the other side of The Donald

the-other-side-of-donald-trumpSoul correction… if it is accurate and really something recognizable, then you should be able to tell someone’s soul correction without knowing their birth date.

Of course you need to know the person well.

This is exactly what happened this morning.

I found an email in my inbox recommending an article on what Tony Schwartz, Donald Trump’s “The Art of The Deal” book’s ghostwriter has to say now that the Republican’s make Donald Trump their presidential candidate. Donald Trump: personal vibration: 70. Number of spiritual capacities: 4, overall intelligence, including emotional and spiritual intelligence: 30. For contrast: Adolph Hitler: personal vibration: 100. spi

Pleasure seeking behavior… or more aptly let’s call it: avoiding pain behavior

illo-brainThere are two kinds of pleasure.

  1. Pleasure that is immediate, impulsive, and requires no or little sustained effort and
  2. Pleasure that is the result of work… sustained effort.

No matter what pleasure you seek, what makes it pleasure is the contrast: there needs to be pain for pleasure to exist. ((Hunger makes food pleasurable… lust makes sex pleasurable… tiredness makes sleep pleasurable…))

Although I could write about pleasure that you earn through hard and sustained work, and I have written hundreds of articles about it, people with too small capacity for pain rarely turn around and become people who want to earn their pleasure.

So in this article I’ll a

Do what is hard when it’s easy… what does it mean for you?

do what is hard when it is easyI am hearing that you can’t wrap your minds around Seneca’s principle: “do what is hard when it is easy”.

So I am going to give you some examples… and then ask you to add your examples to the comments section. Let’s create at least 50, OK? Together…

Maintenance is a good example. Exercising is easy while you still can. If you don’t, movement becomes difficult… and then you are seriously limited.

I think the “do it what’s difficult while it’s easy” is vague, so all of life fits into it well. It’s a principle. It’s a distinction. It is a way to look at the world…

Find examples. Make it a swiss cheese: shoot holes i

For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

soccer-ball-in-the-faceWhat I didn’t say in the last article about conscious awareness and discipline, is probably as important as what I did say.

Lots of people argue that your subconscious or your ego are more important than what you are aware of consciously, but that may not be true.

Your ego, your drive given to you by the genes and their selfish desire that is so often counter to your conscious desire: unless you know thine enemy, the enemy will always win.

Your decisions from the past that are now not in the conscious part of your brain: ditto. If you don’t know at least the most important decisions that have taken you to where you are… then they will continue to run the show, that is your life
