Make your plane go where you want it to go…
This is probably the most shocking sentence in the whole 67 step program.
I literally don’t know anyone who lives that way.
People try to succeed, try a diet, try this and try that… while their plane crashes in every area.
So what is the difference between who are like that, who are on their way to become that kind of person, and others who never ever land their plane on the landing strip?

Bad things used to come in threes… Not any more. Nowadays it is more like three good things and one bad thing. The bad thing today could be turned into good… maybe writing this article helps. Some clients buy stuff … Remember when I told you, in an earlier article, that the opposite of fear is curiosity? Curiosity is that, and more. ((The important thing is not to stop questioning… Never lose a holy curiosity. I have found that curiosity is the main component in aliveness… so it is also the opposite of dead, deadened, alienated, dull, and foggy. It is also the main sparker of intelligence. We are all born curious. Most of us kill our curiosity. Curiosity, what I call curiosity, is open ended. Finding THE answer to a question is not the curiosity I am talking about. Thinking that you need answers is the number one killer o Animals are not forceful. Plants are not forceful. Why? Because, while the selfish gene is quite forceful, the animals surrender to the selfish gene… and go “with” it. Humans are animals with a mind… and the mind is forceful. More forceful than the selfish gene… The selfish gene is clear on what it wants: it wants to increase itself in the gene pool. That is all it is interested in. It negotiates with nature, with other species, with toxins, with members of the same species continually to lead to evolutionary stable strategies…. ess in short. It adapts or it dies. The more adaptable, the more aware the gene and the vehicle, the more successful the gene is in propagating itself, and it thrives. volunteering providing services, small services online/offline through craigslist, fiverr Article You may have no skills that you know of that would get you a job in the next profession… But you may have some skills… or why would you want to go that way? After all, the rule of thumb is: go with your strengths… and if you have strengths, you know you have them, because you’ve been using them. Here is how I did it. The time was 1988 and I was an architect. And that opportunity closed for me… I did a skill inventory, and found that all my skills at that point were putting ink on paper… writing, drawing, designing… and communicating. With people. Graphics, design, text, communicating… I decided that the best match was publisher, although I had no idea what I would want to say… Magazine publishing. I was unemployed, so I spent my time training myself… designing ads, writing ads, and I even apprenticed with a small printer so I had some idea what printing entails. Then I sent out two resumes to small local pennysavers… that I saw all the time in the supermarket. One answered, and said that the only job available is advertising sales. That I would get someone to train me… I said OK… The woman who came to train me (I didn’t have any transportation) gave me a script and went out with me to a few stores to sell advertising. Next day she went and covered all the stores I could have been able to walk in and sold everyone she could… Dog eat dog is the advertising world. So I called the other publisher. I told him I sold five ads on my first day… He met me and hired me, even gave me a beat up car to use, so that I can get around and do the job. I was grateful. I worked 80 hours or more a week. I actively participated on Friday’s meetings when every salesperson brought in what they sold. After two weeks I took over that part of the job, laying out the magazine for Saturday printing. I even delivered all the magazines to the stores in my sales area. I busted my ass. I built enough relationships with customers, typesetters, printers that after 14 months, when the owner felt threatened and kicked me out, I could start, overnight, my own magazine. After that fateful meeting, when I got kicked out, I called the typesetter, called the printer, and asked for credit for one issue. I got it. I stayed up all night, and next day at 4 pm my own magazine was in the street. It was the beginning of a wonderful eleven year run. 003_what-does-it-take-to change-into-a-new-career talking points: how do you know what skills to build? reading books

This used to happen to me all the time: I’d get an email with a link. I’d go to the page, I’d love the results the guy is having, I’d want it. I’d buy it… then… I can’t use it. Even the tutorial videos don’t help: I lost my “vision.” How come we buy things. While we watch the sales video, we feel clear about our need to have this, we feel clear about how it’s going to fit into what we are already doing, we feel clear about what to do. Then the magic moment comes: we are sitting in front of the product, and we have no idea about any of that. Because while the fox is running for his dinner, the rabbit is running for his life. All of life works the same way… I have noticed that take-away, as a manipulation technique, works exceptionally well on me. Here is how the technique works: you show something, and you state that it is only available at this price for a limited amount of time. I find myself scrambling to get it. For those of you who have been making ever tightening circle around the secret, you may call it the truth, this is first a big let-down. A disappointment.
