Sadness. Tree of Life, Tree of Knowledge… more about what gives you what kind of life
I just exchanged emails with the author of the Feelings book, Gyozo Margoczi.
Gyozo means Winner, or Victor in Hungarian… someone who wins over something or someone.
My name: Sophie, means Wisdom.
Names can be taken two ways:
- 1. you are that
- 2. you need to become that
He wrote the books. Major accomplishment. Big win… mostly like a tree falling in a forest that didn’t make a sound because there was no one to hear it… until I came along.
Now I am taking what I learned from him, and still learn through the emails, and I am running with it.
He is stuck in his 9-5, family, financial obligations.

The Upside of Your Dark Side… How your shadow is your biggest gift
I am reading the book “The Upside Of Your Dark Side”.
It’s about living a full life, being a full person, being fully in your power.
This is not the norm of the day… We have become comfortable, and comfort means the elimination of discomfort… duh.
It sounds wonderful, but it isn’t.
It leads to an “un-full” life, where you have no tolerance, no use, no place, no room for unpleasant things, unpleasant thoughts, unpleasant feeling.

This morning I was hit with a strong feeling of despair, loneliness. I didn’t have time to hang out with it, I was in the middle of something. I wanted to shoo it away, and I also wanted to indulge in it. But then I decided to just feel it, acknowledge it, and let it go. I paid attention to what it said… nodded, wept a little, and let it go. Is this familiar to you? I didn’t think so. You don’t know who you are, and you don’t want to find out. All the quotes, all the memes, all the nice sayings on the internet have one function only: to make you stay the same. And by same I mean driven by ego, fear, cowardice, slothfulness, superiority, pretense… etc. Now, that is a bold statement, after all those quotes and memes, and nice sayings, and even coaching claim and sound and look inspiring. And therein lies the mischief: They suggest that you can just simple want it more, choose it, believe it and then you can have it… whatever the Some people, some groups, even some countries always bet on the wrong horse.
