For most this is the hardest thing to learn.

We grow up in a family or community that consider their “sacred duty and honor” to call us names, to assign responsibility to us.

They treat their pets more fairly. They allow the pet to do what pets do… but don’t give the same rights to humans, children.

The way humans examine things to make sense of them is by taking them apart. It works relative well with people, but with a living thing, it is not that effective.

Case study: how to have spiritual growth with practical results

slow-progressI am completing the third cycle of the 67 steps.

It’s taken me seven months and 10 days…

Lots have changed since I started.

I have, so far, dropped 23 pounds, about 10 kg. My bone structure is starting to show… starting. I didn’t diet, but I completely overhauled my diet, removed everything that doesn’t agree with my body, and added all the nutrients that are essential. I feel good, I have no cravings, and it is very sustainable… I can live like this till the day I die.

I have gone from completely sedentary, because of pain, to sprightly, as some people called me yesterday. I now only have pain when walking.

I am in better mood than ever, I laugh easily, and feel good about my life, about life itself, about

Ignorance in health matters is killing you

granny with flexibility ((No, that amazingly flexible lady isn’t me: I was never that flexible, not even when I was in kindergarten, or ballet)) I don’t know if I have the right to talk about ignorance about health… in this particular area… because I have been ignorant for a long time now, myself.

Before I moved here, where I live now, I used to go to the gym or a personal trainer 2-3 times a week.

In my younger, school years I was an athlete, a gymnast, a swimmer, and in the past 13 years I was counting on the muscles I developed over the years… and… here is the ignorance, I didn’t comprehend that my muscles atrophied.

But… saving grace, I have a community center at the bottom of the hill, and they have a weekly seniors exercise class: to prevent falling…
