Taken from an old joke about a drunkard who is searching for something he has lost, the parable is told several ways but typically includes the following details:

We all hear and read about energy healing, but most of that healing doesn’t work or it’s disappointing.
But here is an energy tool that works… Really.
The story
I first heard about Mr. T., the ugly Indian energy master, from my client and massage therapist… She raved about how he caused cows to give more milk and trees to bear more fruit. In addition to healing people.
Bull shit, I thought, but didn’t say it.
Then when this Mr. T offered an inexpensive sample session to try his transmissions, I paid my $20 to try it. The session was two hours of testimonials, and 2 minutes
Living in the three levels of value, the systemic, the extrinsic, and the intrinsic, lived fully, and balanced, is the secret to the good life.
The Indian sages, including the Buddha, skipped the extrinsic. They taught people not to live there. They had a disdain for it.
But work is on the extrinsic level, making money is on that level, so skipping it means living a life of charity. Living a life where you cannot value another person on all levels… because you don’t value the values of that level.
