If you wanted to change… if you actually wanted to change… so your life can change too… where would you make the change?
I just had a conversation with one of my students who shows promise to be able to change.
On a side note: where do I look when I assess who will change and who will not?
I will look at two places:
1. do they argue or offer explanations or excuses when they get feedback from me. Argument, explanations, and excuses are the sign of a foolish person who won’t take feedback, and either won’t change, or will do it to either curry approval from you, or to prove you wrong.
2. An immediate testing tool is the 5-question exercise. If they do it, that is a
Injecting energy into something… as a way to delay or avoid entropy. Entropy is the tendency of everything towards dissolution…
This is the fourth time I heard this step, but this time I heard it the expression “injecting energy”.
If I missed it even though I heard it three times, how many things do you miss?
If you think that you hear everything… you are delusional.
If you think that the only reason that you miss something is because you didn’t put all your attention to what was being said: you are still missing the point.
Talk about useless activity! Tree of Knowledge, mind candy, justifying self… all the bad stuff. Bad for you… keeping you exactly where you are… and if that is a bad place… then it keeps you firmly anchored to that bad place.
And it is the overwhelming habit of readers of my site.
But to make it even worse: it is the habit of some of my 67 step students.
Useless, waste of time, unless all you want is entertainment. Then I understand.
So if you actually wanted, what you read/listen to, to make a difference for you, what should you do?
I am a coach. But spirituality is a tricky thing: not much action: most things happen on the inside as a result of some shift.
But… but it is only possible to coach someone who is in action.
For decades I tried to coach people who weren’t… and it was a waste of my efforts. Decades. I hated my life… 🙁
Finally I wisened up when I myself bought Tai’s program and started to do it.
It was action. Daily or five times a week action. I either did it or didn’t do it. I either paid attention or I didn’t. I was either humble and soaked it up like a sponge, or judged it. I was either growing or shrinking. It had a what and it had a how aspect. Excellent.
I saw that it is the perfect thing for my clients and stude
If you suck the last little bit of energy out of your battery and then charge it, next day it will give you a little more… ((I just read that this is not true for all types of batteries… well, it is true for most people…)
But if you suck the energy sparingly, if you are more worried about the battery than about building something with the energy… at the end of the day energy is left in the battery.
You charge it overnight, and next day the battery will show full, but its full is only the 70% you used the day before…
And little by little, your sparing the battery attitude, your stinginess leaves you with hardly any energy to get things done, to think, to dream, to imagine, to be
As you know I do health consulting. Most of it is about how to eat and what to eat.
Yesterday I found out that my clients don’t know how digestion works, and therefore they guess at how to eat… Because this seems to be the general picture, that people never learned about digestion, I see that I need an emergency article…
In this article I rant about widespread ignorance, your ignorance… about how things work. Then I teach you stuff you want to know but never learned… about your body, about eating, about the secrets of being well…
It’s not worth it… Is it worth it to invest your energy in something that is uncertain? It’s not worth it, or is it?… It is all about whether it is worth it for you or not… If you are … Continue reading →
Sometimes it is the people no one can imagine anything of who do the things no one can imagine~Alan Turing
I watched yet another movie about Alan Turing and how his machine won the war against Nazi Germany.
I would not be around without him. And you would live a totally different life… The book (and the Amazon series) The Man in the High Castle approximates…
I am in awe. With what he did, with who he was, with genius winning, with goodness winning.
