New Weekend Workshop: Get unstuck with the detached capacity

I am working on creating a communication course, but first things first:

so many of you are stuck in your doom and dominant belief behavior, I see getting unstuck is an emergency.

So I am going to do weekend workshops to teach you how to get unstuck.

The workshops are designed to teach you to use the Detached capacity to get you unstuck in the moment.

Having the capacity is nice, but unless you know exactly what to do with it, it works only like a remedy: in the moment. Whereas true getting unstuck means that you start moving.

The purpose of the workshop is to get you from your stuck state to where you are moving and starting to create a life worth living.

Your first session will include the activation of the DNA capacity: Detached. And me checking that you actually know how to use it.

The Detached capacity does not automatically detach you… just lik

What makes soap operas addictive? What are YOU hooked on?

got-its-hooks-in-youVery “interesting” experience. I watched the first year of Dexter, and although I wanted to watch all episodes, the first year was not addictive.

But I had a premonition about the rest of the series.

Made up by skilled television writers, I knew it was going to be something dangerous to my well-being.

Unneeded complications, many different side-story lines, all dramatic and irrelevant, all stories I would not watch Netflix for. But all of these side-stories had a claw as sharp as the tiny hooks of burr… of v

Behavioral strategies vs. beingness strategies

dying to be lovedWe all want to be loved. It’s hardwired, because being loved is the surest way to be fed, as a child, get sex as an adult, be promoted or helped as an adult.

Its purpose is survival.

The organism wants to survive, desperately.

We don’t know what that love is, but we want it. And some of us want to earn it.

I just followed a link that introduced me to Chris Farley, a fat comedian, who died… because he could not live without that love. ((Chris Farley is the fat guy

Swim or sink… do or die

to be in a sink or swim situation, you first need to jumpinto the waterThis morning my main computer quietly died.

Times like this are the real tests whether the capacities are working or not.

Suddenly I had no access to anything that is on that computer, not the data, not the software, and I had a few choices: go crazy, go out of business, or bring resiliency, aka mental toughness to carry the day.

It’s Tuesday, and a few minutes after the death of my trusty computer, I went downstairs and to my weekly outing to the chiropractor and to the gro

Can you be crying and be unphased? Does the White Lotus cry?

the white lotus, the symbol of being unphasedCan you listen to insults to your family, your god, your country and be unphased?

Can you watch death and grieving and be unphased?

I am unphased 91% of the time. Very few things pull me out of the equilibrium, where I need to recover so I can return to being well and unphased. All of them I self-created, none of them are real.

I cry a lot. I feel people’s grief, I feel centuries old sadness, I feel the pain of not being allowed to grow, or even to live.

I am re-reading an book about the story of a family, the Levis, through 800 years

What happens if and when something turns you from spiritual flying to spiritual falling? How can you reverse it?

spiritual free fall after the holidaysAn interesting phenomenon: people who have never had any spiritual capacity activated, do better, fare better than “advanced” students.

Of course this is not true for everyone.

What is the difference, the crucial difference that I see?

It is whether they are in falling, whether they are flailing, or have hit bottom.

“Beginners” have hit bottom. They know it. There is no doubt about it. Unless they get that new spiritual capacity working, life will stay the same, and they will conine to feel alone, misunderstood, and rejected.

The “advanced” people,

More on joy, and how I am learning to have joy in my life

joy is an inside jobMy first foray, my first venture into joy or joyous is trying to figure out what joy is. After all we don’t know necessarily what words mean when it comes to feelings… do we. We, children, watch and learn… but in a world where what you see is a mask, what you see does not represent a feeling accurately, because the person isn’t feeling it, because the person is faking it, the looks don’t help.

My hunch is that joy is fabricated with the intention to cause craving for it, to cause an acute sense of the lack of it.

Actually, when I watch people who enjoy something, they

You don’t have to deserve something to be deserving

agnosticLet me ask you something: do you have to deserve a body? Did you have to deserve to be able to read?

No. Deserving is much more basic, and much more profound than that kind of deserving, which would equate the word with earning.

Earning is a mercantile world’s word: it measures your work, or your merchandise against the asking price… earning.

But deserving is different, regardless how crazy that word drove me when I was a kid. My kid brother whining that he deserved whatever he was whining about.

I didn’t think I deserved anything, so he asserting that he de

Reality, filtered, is not reality… it’s unreality. You only have power when you interact with reality directly

composite_sketchesWhat is happening when you can’t see what is in front of you, only your mind, only the filter?

There are several reasons why you wouldn’t be able to see and respond correctly to what is in front of you.

  1. Reason 1: you start verbalizing what is in front of you, which puts you right in your mind, together with the memories…I call that going to the morass, where you no longer see what you see, it is now displaced by some verbal interpretation… which is not what you are looking at… but a shadow of it.It is invisible to you…

You really think that you are interacting
