How does mind serve the ego, and ego serves the selfish gene… Evolutionary view of team “you”
Tuesdays are my days to interface with people who are neither my readers, nor my clients.
Ordinary people. And although it is very frustrating to me, and maybe even them, I learn a lot from these unpleasant interactions.
Ever since I read The Selfish Gene, a book, and even more since I read the book “Why beautiful people have daughters” a look on life through evolutionary psychology, I am trying to match what I read with what I see, hear, and feel.
It’s a fresh new way to look at people, and a lot more forgiving than th
…or what is the secret ingredient in The Machine that a chess master has or doesn’t…
I have been observing, for no reason, chess masters. Haven seen movies, read books, watched videos… for no reason… other than to allow consciousness to see.
WTF, right?
It is normal to do things for a reason. For fun. For research, For learning. But to take consciousness, like a baby, to the zoo? Who has ever heard anything like that before?
But, as you will see, this is one of the defining differences between humans and human beings… Human beings have layered intentio
I am often asked to map out the path to raising your vibration, raising your consciousness, and become a full fledged human being.
The first step to any journey is to find out where you are at now.
As I muscle test people’s vibration… as I am merging my senses with theirs, feeling their feelings, I feel their overall relationship to life. I feel it stronger than they feel it… like a tool that puts your heartbeat on loudspeaker.
Most people give me feedback, saying “spot on” if they are from England, and then follow my first steps to feel better.
There is a step in the 67 step program that wants you to look at what would be your obituary if you died today.
But there is a much better test, the test:
imagining yourself being on your deathbed: a thought exercise.
Until today I’d thought that what it drives up is all the things you haven’t done, all the things that are important and maybe you can do now… tell people you love them, and other trite things like that.
But today of all days I had an insight.
The insight came because I was trying to figure out what is in common in people who do the 67-step program w
“(SELF-)CULTIVATION TAKES AN UNIMAGINABLE TIME (WHILE) ENLIGHTENMENT IN AN INSTANT IS ATTAINED.”
IF THE TRAINING IS EFFICIENT, ENLIGHTENMENT WILL BE ATTAINED IN ONE FINGERSNAP.
IN DAYS GONE BY CH’AN MASTER HUI CHUEH OF LANG YEH MOUNTAIN, HAD A DISCIPLE WHO CALLED ON HIM FOR INSTRUCTION. THE MASTER TAUGHT HER TO EXAMINE INTO THE SENTENCE: “TAKE NO NOTICE.”
SHE FOLLOWED HIS INSTRUCTION STRICTLY WITHOUT BACKSLIDING.
ONE DAY HER HOUSE CAUGHT FIRE, BUT SHE SAID: “TAKE NO NOTICE.”
ANOTHER DAY, HER SON FELL INTO THE WATER AND WHEN A BYSTANDER CALLED HER, SHE
The most popular image I have on Instagram says: Arrogance is weakness disguised as strength.
Now, why this is worth writing about?
Because it is the tip of the iceberg of something really important.
We have spoken about the selfish gene. For the gene you are a survival vehicle only. And a person, who is not related to you, is competition, rival… and in your gene’s way to make more copies of itself.
I know this is unfamiliar territory, but please bear with me, because where it is taking us is worth going to… so patience… you don
First things first: the saying is “become worth a damn.” But a lot of people consider damn a curse word, so they say “become worth a dime”… Oh well, here you have it. Become worth a dime… lol.
Second: let me explain the picture: no teacher is worth a darn, unless the student is able to handle, utilize what the teacher teaches. And therein lies all the difficulty you are experiencing.
As you can, maybe, track, I am becoming obsessed with learning to learn… or more precisely said, teaching you to learn to learn…
We all want to be loved. It’s hardwired, because being loved is the surest way to be fed, as a child, get sex as an adult, be promoted or helped as an adult.
Its purpose is survival.
The organism wants to survive, desperately.
We don’t know what that love is, but we want it. And some of us want to earn it.
I just followed a link that introduced me to Chris Farley, a fat comedian, who died… because he could not live without that love. ((Chris Farley is the fat guy

My first foray, my first venture into joy or joyous is trying to figure out what joy is. After all we don’t know necessarily what words mean when it comes to feelings… do we. We, children, watch and learn… but in a world where what you see is a mask, what you see does not represent a feeling accurately, because the person isn’t feeling it, because the person is faking it, the looks don’t help.
My hunch is that joy is fabricated with the intention to cause craving for it, to cause an acute sense of the lack of it.
Actually, when I watch people who enjoy something, they
Let me ask you something: do you have to deserve a body? Did you have to deserve to be able to read?
No. Deserving is much more basic, and much more profound than that kind of deserving, which would equate the word with earning.
Earning is a mercantile world’s word: it measures your work, or your merchandise against the asking price… earning.
But deserving is different, regardless how crazy that word drove me when I was a kid. My kid brother whining that he deserved whatever he was whining about.
I didn’t think I deserved anything, so he asserting that he de
