When you ask people what made them who they are today, invariably all of them answer a version of the same thing: The past.
How they express this varies: my parents, my schooling, what I have been doing, my genes, etc. etc. but all in all, they all mean the same: what makes me who I am today is the past.
If that were true, that would be bad news, really.
Imagine that it is true. Now see yourself trying to be successful online. Given your track record, and your genes, and your past behavior, how much chance do you have for success?
I’d love to say zero, but it would be unfair to many of you. So instead, I answer it in a way that applies to all of you:
The same as yesterday. Or a year ago…
Now, that is a total bummer, isn’t it?
And it is total hogwash. It is a lie. It is an illusion.
If that were true, no change would be possible. And people do change. Not many, not often, but they do.
The second part of the title, “except that not always” is doesn’t apply for at least 10% of you: you won’t even see the difference when I point it out. ((Another way to say the title: You can’t tell your ass from a hole in the ground…

The most frustrating thing is, that you are sure you are saying or understanding the right words… but you don’t. And you blame it on the speaker saying that what they said doesn’t work.
How do I know?
For most people, who become a student in my programs, this is the first hurdle to pass.
You come into my program with a 300 accurate vocabulary, and you only hear the words you think you know what they mean, but that is not what I
It’s perplexing to watch humans trying to eat soup with a fork.
Because while industry, science have advanced, humans, the race, has gone backwards.
As a race.
Backwards in intelligence… intellect, emotional, social, relationship, etc.
And obviously in vibration.
Pam Ragland‘s theory was (is?) that it is negativity that is doing it.
But I watched the 26 people in her course, where she wiped the negativity, and people’s behavior, their affinity to learning new tricks, growing, did not change.
I worked as a friend and coach with some of them, and I can tell you: wiping aw
I am reading a book, Peak: Secrets from the New Science of Expertise. I am reading it because I want to be able to teach my students better, so they can leave behind the level of ordinary school learning, the pedestrian learning that always produces pedestrian result.
Amateurish performance, amateurish life. ((Your level of fulfillment is exponentially correlated to the amount of effort you invested. Easy: no fulfillment. Hard, lots of effort, hardship: lots of fulfillment.))
When Tai asks you, what is in the way of you growing, and starting to live the good life, most people have a ready answer. An answer they are sure is true. And an answer that they had seen a million times.
What no one seems to consider, that the saying “how you do anything is how you do everything” is more of a reason than you would consider.
One of them shows up an awful lot on my site: assuming to know. That is a how… falsely certain.
I had an interesting insight yesterday: you don’t know what it feels like to have courage available to you.
When you apply courage, it just feels like you are doing what you are doing, what you were afraid of. Normal.
Which indicates to me, that courage is a paradigm-shifter.
Paradigm is like a glass ceiling. A one-side mirror. When you are in a higher paradigm, you can see what is below you, but if you are still in a lower paradigm, you cannot see what’s above. In fact you don’t know there is something, anything.
That’s what is a “bitch” about life, that nothing is EVER in the bag. You have to keep your eyes on it, push it, make the right choices, do it, and then, maybe, it gets into the bag.
I am talking about projects. Big or small, it is never in the bag until it is in the bag.
They say it is not over until the fat lady sings… but that is for spectators, that don’t enjoy the show.
A participant, it is never over until it is done…
No matter how good it looks now, no matter how good it feels now, in the next moment it can tumble, go south, the whol
I just finished a Talk-to-me call. It’s a call available for people on my mailing list, where they can ask any questions and get answers, coaching, whatever they need. The call was a breakthrough in a lot of ways.
First off, I distinguished for myself, for the second time, that unless I fall in step with the person I coach, they can’t get what I am saying as contribution and cannot act on it.
Falling in step with music is obviously fun. Falling in step with a drum circle is fun. But falling in step with another person is a challenge. But unless you do, discord is the result.
Unless you learn how to identify with the Witness aka Observer, you’ll be miserable for the rest of your life. Guaranteed. It’s Sunday. Ever since I woke up the Negative Emotion Transmission has been very strong today. Stronger than on … Continue reading →
