I have been observing myself as a spiritual practice. Trying to “remember myself” as Gurdjieff would say it, call upon the “witness” or “observer”. Be awake. Either way, I have noticed something remarkable about myself: see if you can relate.
When I am in front of my computer* (where I spend most of my day) and I encounter something that requires the slightest push on my end, I see myself automatically going to the computer game of my choice, freecell.
I began observing this phenomenon about 6 months ago (it was there, unobserved, for many years). But 4 days ago I decided to employ “restriction,” which is one of Kabbalah’s main tenets, and see what will happen.

The main difference between a human and a human being, the next level of human evolution, is an inner difference. Not biological, physical, physiological. Instead a difference in what tells the one and the other to do things, what attitude to have, how to do things.

The most important thing I never learned in Landmark… that allowed me to grow
In 1967 I applied to participate in a 6-day on site advanced program in Landmark… it was still called Werner Erhard and Associates at the time.
I was denied. The staff member for admittance told me: Until you learn the difference between thinking and doing, you can’t do the course.
I had no idea what she meant. But I wanted to do the course… so I called her daily. And tried different ways to prove to her that I knew the difference… I got in by mistake.
I have been in this inquiry since February when I first heard Tai say: the strongest predictor of your success, in any area of life, is the level of your awareness.
So what is this awareness that is so important.
Nine months… it’s taken me till today to get complete clarity of what this “thing” awareness is.
Six million Jews perished in the gas chambers and mass graves during the holocaust, because they were not aware.
Tens of millions of people were ashamed of themselves and their association with Germany, people who elected Hitler and the Nazi party… because they weren’t aware.
And millions of people will be voting today for the new Hitler… figureh
Today (9/29/2016) I saw something I did not see before… And it surprised me, and filled with compassion.
The seed level, the dominant belief of this soul correction is that something inherently wrong with them, and that they are worthless.
Of course it is not the truth, it’s a dominant belief you are born with… I have traces of it, and my soul correction is “Forget Thyself”… and every achievement, every accomplishment I had for 50 years or more was to fix it.
It cannot be fixed because it is not true. And therein lies the problem: what do you do with something that is not fixable?
Unevolved “Removing Hatred” people hide it. And they pay a price. A big price. I have two people in my family with this soul correction… one died at age 4
This used to happen to me all the time: I’d get an email with a link. I’d go to the page, I’d love the results the guy is having, I’d want it. I’d buy it… then… I can’t use it. Even the tutorial videos don’t help: I lost my “vision.”
How come we buy things. While we watch the sales video, we feel clear about our need to have this, we feel clear about how it’s going to fit into what we are already doing, we feel clear about what to do.
Then the magic moment comes: we are sitting in front of the product, and we have no idea about any of that.
I hear that only one to two percent of buyers, on average
