Many people grieve continuously. What do you grieve for? Is it grief or is it depression?

Believe it or not, grieving ((from Wikipedia: Grief is a multifaceted response to loss, particularly to the loss of someone or something that has died, to which a bond or affection was formed. Although conventionally focused on the emotional response to loss, it also has physical, cognitive, behavioral, social, spiritual, and philosophical dimensions. While the terms are often used interchangeably, bereavement refers to the state of loss, and grief is the reaction to loss, along with nostalgic longing for something or someone that probably won’t return.

Updated: Soul Correction: Fearless

Fear is an issue. It’s universal. You have it, I have it. You have to have it. It is the 200,000 year old hardware… where your life was lived out in an environment where everything was a threat to your survival.

Today’s fears are the same, except today the threats to your survival are missing… and yet, the fears continue.

Your path to the next level of evolution, Human Being, is the beingness of fearless… where you consider fear a necessary evil, and you take it with you wherever you go, big and small, safe or dangerous, like you would take a child with you who needs your support.

If you think you need to deal with the fear, you need to silence the fear, stop the fear, fix the fear BEFORE you can do anything, then you’ll never go anywhere… And that is the predictable place where you are, if this is your soul correction.

Gurus and even psychologists give lip service to not being reactive. They say it’s the ego’s way to take over your life. They suggest that you respond. They don’t know what they are talking about, and you, the client, suffer as a result.

Your desires…

I have been pondering a student’s email all morning.  ((I woke up today with a real distinction between ‘me’ and ‘my machine’.  It is so coo!  I can actually feel the two different states of being.  Thanks Sophie!

This is so cool I just had to share it with you.  It gives me a real sense of how I can relate to my machine differently.  Here’s hoping I can stay in this state of awareness as the day progresses.  For the rest of my life is preferable!!  For the rest of my life is my goal.  🙂

Wow, my poor little machine!  Doing so much of my work.  Let’s see how I do in directing her instead of her trying to do something she is not capable of doing effectively, and something she is not equipped to do. )) And when I ponder, I do it while I do other things.

Worry

I have to admit, I would have never thought to write this article, without reading Andy Shaw’s book, Creating a Bug Free Mind. He writes extensively about worry.

I never thought of myself as a worrier, but, of course, I still worry from time to time. Nowhere near as much as others.

They call it fear of failure, anxiety, but it is all worry.

Spending all your mental energy fretting about something in the future, while in the present things don’t get done. Hm. Really stupid, isn’t it?

Acceptance: what it is, what it isn’t

Acceptance… does it mean you like it? Does it mean you condone it? Does it mean you want it? Does it mean you are a doormat?

Accepting things the way they are, people the way they are and the way they aren’t, is the key to happiness.

But, as I am finding out, there is a confusion about what acceptance means.

For it to be clear, we need to first look at resistance.
